In Mandeville is an original musical by Marcellus Almazar and Oliver Walker, with additional writing by Lweji Padre and Tayo Fanifosi. The show tells the story of a struggling American screenwriter, Daniel Amador (Marcellus Almazar), and aspiring British actress Jennifer Morgan-Manners (Chloe Hackett) as they fall in love in the city of Los Angeles, where Jennifer yearns for a one-way ticket to stardom, all the while missing the simplicity back home in the fictional U.K. town of Mandeville.
Once Daniel wiggles his way into an opportunity bigger than he can ever imagine, their relationship is put to the test as the promise of fame and fortune starts to rot Daniel’s perception of reality, and Jennifer begins to lose sight of why she came to LA in the first place.
An unconventional subversion of a typical love story, In Mandeville explores individuality within relationships and what it means to not only love someone else, but also to love yourself. With 21 original songs and a runtime of approx. 1 hour 43 mins, the show takes the audience across an ocean of catchy tunes, sinister encounters with a shady studio executive, the harsh reality of love, relationships, and friendships within the entertainment industry, and a brief encounter with Tom Cruise (not the real one).

Marcellus Almazar is an actor and musician from Ipswich who has starred in off-Broadway productions such as Legally Blonde and Tying The Knot, as well as releasing his own music.
Oliver Walker is a writer, director, and musician from West London who has written and directed feature-length and short films, as well as releasing his own music.
Lweji Padre is an accomplished singer and songwriter from London who has made a name for herself as one of the most gifted singers in the South West of England.
Chloe Hackett is an accomplished actress and singer from London who has starred in productions of Legally Blonde and Tying The Knot alongside Marcellus Almazar.
